AGENT TRADE was established in 1994 as a company with full Romanian capital.
In 2000, the Board of Directors of the company decided to establish an assembly and production department, which started its activity with the assembly of current and welding generators – AGT brand.
Gradually, by ensuring and maintaining a European quality level in the manufacturing process of current and welding generators, AGT has become one of the most important manufacturers of portable generator sets (with powers between 1.6 and 15 kVA) or stationary (with powers up to 75 kVA). The realized range is completed by welding generators with current intensities of up to 400 Amp.
At the moment, in addition to power and welding generators, AGENT TRADE produces a complete range of motor hoes and equipment for small mechanization in gardening and agriculture, equipment for the construction industry, motor pumps.
From this range, we have chosen to present the AGT Premium chainsaw range, equipped with Honda or Kohler engines.

The AGT 6500 / 7500 PREMIUM chainsaw ranges are designed to meet all the requirements of use in soil cultivation work in households and gardens.
For the 6500 Premium model, the 3-speed transmission (2 forward and one reverse) and the HONDA or KOHLER engine with powers between 5.5 HP and 6.5 HP make it the ideal choice for professional use.
For the 7500 Premium model, the direct transmission with oil bath multi-disc clutch, cast iron gearbox and HONDA or KOHLER engine make it the perfect choice for hard ground and professional use.
Both variants comply with the EN709 security standard for completely safe use:
- 6500 model with reverse transmission, double-acting transmission lever, additional drum guard, 2 mm thick and 600 mm wide knife guards, gearbox with neutral point between forward and reverse speeds and minimum distances between position the operator and the milling knives.
- the 7500 model with reverse clutch, dual-action clutch lever, additional drum guard, 2 mm thick, 600 mm wide knife guards and minimum clearances between operator position and milling knives.
